    General description

                            A fully automatic turnstile revolving door with (  ) 3 or (  ) 4 fixed leaves. A classic, timeless design with excellent workmanship. Aluminium profiles giving an impression of lightness and with minimal canopy height. Surfaces finished in a standard RAL colour.

Drive

1 fully automatic, micro-processor controlled TORMAX drive with high torque.

With integral overwind protection and emergency brake. Mounted in the canopy.

Control / service access

Control system with comprehensive functions. Easy access via external data interface with recallable digital malfunction messages, amongst other features. Simple service and repair access through internal canopy. 

Control panel

Control panel with LED display and key switch on the door to lock the control panel

or placed externally and with the following operating modes.

AUTO  the door starts to rotate at walking pace after gentle pressure is applied to the leaf  
                        and then moves to the waiting position.

     ROTATE      the door starts to rotate at normal speed when the opening activator is triggered and then rotates at slow speed until the next opening impulse.

EXIT                  as the AUTO operating mode but only the internal activator reacts (e.g. at closing time).
                        The time can be programmed as required.

MANUAL           Manual mode with activated overwind protection.

     NIGHT          Door stationary; can only be activated by opening sensors enabled for NIGHT operation (standard = key switch). The door returns to the final position after operation.

     Sensor system

Encoders to activate the door installed in the ceiling area, or customer’s badge readers. 

Safety features

     - Emergency stop button on external and internal corner columns

     - Button for handicapped persons on external and internal corner columns

      - In the event of a power failure the doors are in no load operation ( overwind prevention ) and can be operated manually or with a battery module.   

Door design

All load-bearing components are made from aluminium. 

Door leaf / axle

3 or 4 leaves made from 6 mm tempered safety glass with 56 x 56 mm aluminium sealing profiles and mounted rigidly on the axle. All leaves with integrated natural horse-hair sealing brushes which are reinforced at the corners and easy to replace.  

Drum walls

Made from 10 mm curved laminated safety glass with 75/105 (upper / lower) x 40 mm

aluminium sealing profiles. The closing edges are protected by strips of black rubber.  

External canopy

Water-repellent plywood canopy, 15 mm thick. With water run-off (no pipe) if required or 60 mm diameter drain pipe. Sides enclosed by aluminium cladding including a water-retaining lip.

Water-proof external canopy

The following is needed to ensure that the roof is completely water-tight:

     - internal diameters up to 2700 mm    (  ) aluminium sheet (  ) in the same colour as the door, properly installed and sealed.

     - internal diameters over 2700 mm (  ) special film properly joined and installed on site and properly sealed.  

Internal canopy / lighting

A wooden canopy with a 16 mm melamine cladding (white) or with aluminium components in the same colour as the door with 5 symmetrically arranged halogen spot-lights. 

Lock

Manual locking of one door leaf with a profile cylinder or see –> night closure, optional extras. 

Floor ring (optional)

A stainless steel floor ring for optimally securing the door equipment, on an untreated floor in the building capable of taking fixing bolts. Must be installed in accordance with the drawing (max. +/- 1mm). The door can also be installed directly onto the finished floor. However, the finished floor or the floor ring must be absolutely flat (+/- 1mm) and capable of taking fixing bolts. 

Profiles / surfaces

All visible and described profiles are made from aluminium. Surface finish:

Installation and erection

Cables are to be installed in the building as specified by the manufacturer.

Erection is carried out after the floor is finished, the walls plastered and the door assembled.

If a floor ring is required, it is installed directly onto the untreated concrete. This is cemented into position immediately after installation.
