Folding is synonymous with making room. While requiring a minimum of installation space, a Kaba bifold door offers maximum clearance width.
The bifold door is available in four panel configurations with a variety of overall frame widths. The door panels fold IN for the most efficient use of space at entrances or exits.

Versatile :

Applications cover all instances where space is at a premium, corridor situations, or where a swing door is not the ideal unit for two way traffic.
Typically, bifold doors are used in refurbishment projects in
hospitals, high street shops, local councils, offices and many situations where an automatic door is required for a disabled persons entrance.

Unimpeded passage and maximum safety are requirements which are easily fulfilled by the bifold door.

Ease of Adaptation :

A wide choice of construction sizes, surface treatments and glass versions allow the realization of a custom tailored solution which perfectly matches the architectural concept. Finishes available include silver anodised aluminium and polyester powder paint to standard RAL or BS colours.

Secure  :

Doors are provided with a mechanical constraint of the folding wings. Bottom rail keyed locks can be provided for external entrances. The door also includes a battery pack for continuous operation in the event of a power failure. A bottom guide rail ensures smooth action and greater security for external doors.

Warranty - After Sales Service :

All Kaba bifold doors and operators are tested prior to leaving the factory and are covered by a 12 month warranty in the event of any part becoming defective.
Like all moving equipment that is used regularly, Kaba doors should be serviced periodically depending on usage levels. The Kaba Service Department provides for routine maintenance or emergency call out repairs and has ADSA certificated engineers strategically located throughout the whole of the UK to provide a full nationwide service.
